2014-04-04hwmon: (lm63) Create all sysfs groups in one callGuenter Roeck
We can create all sysfs groups in one call by using sysfs_create_groups instead of using sysfs_create_group individually for each group. Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net> Signed-off-by: Jean Delvare <jdelvare@suse.de>
2014-04-04hwmon: (lm63) Introduce 'dev' variable to point to client->devGuenter Roeck
client->dev is used multiple times in several functions. Introduce dev variable pointing to it to simplify the code. Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net> Signed-off-by: Jean Delvare <jdelvare@suse.de>
2014-04-04hwmon: (lm63) Add additional sysfs group for temp2_type attributeGuenter Roeck
With the new hwmon API, we can only add groups of attributes, not individual attributes. To prepare for the use of the new API, add an additional sensor group for the temp2_type attribute and register it with sysfs_create_group instead of device_create_file. 2014-04-04KVM: ioapic: try to recover if pending_eoi goes out of rangePaolo Bonzini
The RTC tracking code tracks the cardinality of rtc_status.dest_map into rtc_status.pending_eoi. It has some WARN_ONs that trigger if pending_eoi ever becomes negative; however, these do not do anything to recover, and it bad things will happen soon after they trigger. When the next RTC interrupt is triggered, rtc_check_coalesced() will return false, but ioapic_service will find pending_eoi != 0 and do a BUG_ON. To avoid this, should pending_eoi ever be nonzero, call kvm_rtc_eoi_tracking_restore_all to recompute a correct dest_map and pending_eoi. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2014-04-04KVM: ioapic: fix assignment of ioapic->rtc_status.pending_eoi (CVE-2014-0155)Paolo Bonzini
QE reported that they got the BUG_ON in ioapic_service to trigger. I cannot reproduce it, but there are two reasons why this could happen. The less likely but also easiest one, is when kvm_irq_delivery_to_apic does not deliver to any APIC and returns -1. Because irqe.shorthand == 0, the kvm_for_each_vcpu loop in that function is never reached. However, you can target the similar loop in kvm_irq_delivery_to_apic_fast; just program a zero logical destination address into the IOAPIC, or an out-of-range physical destination address. 2014-04-04nfsd4: don't create unnecessary mask aclJ. Bruce Fields
Any setattr of the ACL attribute, even if it sets just the basic 3-ACE ACL exactly as it was returned from a file with only mode bits, creates a mask entry, and it is only the mask, not group, entry that is changed by subsequent modifications of the mode bits. So, for example, it's surprising that GROUP@ is left without read or write permissions after a chmod 0666: touch test chmod 0600 test nfs4_getfacl test A::OWNER@:rwatTcCy A::GROUP@:tcy A::EVERYONE@:tcy nfs4_getfacl test | nfs4_setfacl -S - test # chmod 0666 test nfs4_getfacl test A::OWNER@:rwatTcCy A::GROUP@:tcy D::GROUP@:rwa A::EVERYONE@:rwatcy So, let's stop creating the unnecessary mask ACL. A mask will still be created on non-trivial ACLs (ACLs with actual named user and group ACEs), so the odd posix-acl behavior of chmod modifying only the mask will still be left in that case; but that's consistent with local behavior. 2014-04-04nfsd: revert v2 half of "nfsd: don't return high mode bits"J. Bruce Fields
This reverts the part of commit 6e14b46b91fee8a049b0940333ce13a820beaaa5 that changes NFSv2 behavior. Mark Lord found that it broke nfs-root for Linux clients, because it broke NFSv2. In fact, from RFC 1094: "Notice that the file type is specified both in the mode bits and in the file type. This is really a bug in the protocol and will be fixed in future versions." So NFSv2 clients really are expected to depend on the high bits of the mode. 2014-04-04bonding: Inactive slaves should keep inactive flag's valuezheng.li
bond_open is not setting the inactive flag correctly for some modes (alb and tlb), resulting in error behavior if the bond has been administratively set down and then back up. This effect should not occur when slaves are added while the bond is up; it's something that only happens after a down/up bounce of the bond. For example, in bond tlb or alb mode, domu send some ARP request which go out from dom0 bond's active slave, then the ARP broadcast request packets go back to inactive slave from switch, because the inactive slave's inactive flag is zero, kernel will receive the packets and pass them to bridge that cause dom0's bridge map domu's MAC address to port of bond, bridge should map domu's MAC to port of vif. 2014-04-04drm/i915: move power domain init earlier during system resumeImre Deak
During resume the intel hda audio driver depends on the i915 driver reinitializing the audio power domain. Since the order of calling the i915 resume handler wrt. that of the audio driver is not guaranteed, move the power domain reinitialization step to the resume_early handler. This is guaranteed to run before the resume handler of any other driver. The power domain initialization in turn requires us to enable the i915 pci device first, so move that part earlier too. Accordingly disabling of the i915 pci device should happen after the audio suspend handler ran. So move the disabling later from the i915 resume handler to the resume_late handler. v2: - move intel_uncore_sanitize/early_sanitize earlier too, so they don't get reordered wrt. intel_power_domains_init_hw() Bugzilla: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76152 Signed-off-by: Imre Deak <imre.deak@intel.com> Reviewed-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de> Cc: stable@vger.kernel.org [danvet: Add cc: stable and loud comments that this is just a hack.] [danvet: Fix "Should it be static?" sparse warning reported by Wu Fengguang's kbuilder.] Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch>
