2014-09-16regulator: fan53555: add support for Silergy SYR82x regulatorsHeiko Stuebner
Silergy SYR82x regulators share the exact same functionality and register layout as the Fairchild FAN53555 regulators. Therefore extend the driver to add support for them. Both types use the same vendor id in their ID1 register, so it's not possible to distinguish them automatically. Similarly, the types also do not match. Type 8 used by the SYR827 and SYR828 start at 712.5mV and increment in 12.5mv steps, while the FAN53555 type 8 starts at 600mV and increments in 10mV steps. 2014-02-03regulator: ti-abb: Add support for interleaved LDO registersNishanth Menon
Certain platforms such as DRA7 have quirky memory maps such as: PRM_ABBLDO_DSPEVE_CTRL 0x4ae07e20 PRM_ABBLDO_IVA_CTRL 0x4ae07e24 other-registers PRM_ABBLDO_DSPEVE_SETUP 0x4ae07e30 PRM_ABBLDO_IVA_SETUP 0x4ae07e34 These need the address range allocation to be either not reserved OR unique allocation per register instance or use something like syscon based solution. By going with unique allocation per register, we are able to now have a single compatible driver for all instances on all platforms which use the IP block. So, introduce a new "ti,abb-v3" compatible to allow for definitions where explicit register definitions are provided, while maintaining backward compatibility of older predefined register offsets provided by "ti-abb-v1" and "ti-abb-v2". As part of this change, we rename a few variables to indicate the appropriate meaning. Signed-off-by: Nishanth Menon <nm@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org>

2013-09-18regulator: core: add support for configuring turn-on time through constraintsLaxman Dewangan
The turn-on time of the regulator depends on the regulator device's electrical characteristics. Sometimes regulator turn-on time also depends on the capacitive load on the given platform and it can be more than the datasheet value. The driver provides the enable-time as per datasheet. Add support for configure the enable ramp time through regulator constraints so that regulator core can take this value for enable time for that regulator. Add support for configuring these rails to be controlled by external control inputs. This is require to configure the rail's control register as well as configuration of resource register.
