2009-03-25[ARM] 5431/1: scoop: completely drop old-style SCOOP GPIO accessorsDmitry Baryshkov
Now, as all places that use Scoop GPIO have been converted to use GPIO API, drop old-style accessors completely. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Eremin-Solenikov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2008-04-10[ARM] 4962/1: Introduce standard gpio interface for Scoop2.Dmitry Baryshkov
This deprecates old set/reset_scoop_gpio interfacein favour of support for generic gpio interface. It requires gpiolib, so it depends on the previous patch (gpiolib for SA-1100). Signed-off-by: Dmitry Baryshkov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-04-10[ARM] 4957/1: Drop special macro SCOOP_REG in favour if ioread16/iowrite16.Dmitry Baryshkov
Make scoop driver use generic purpose io routines: ioread16 and iowrite16 instead of direct writing to memory. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Baryshkov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Acked-by: Richard Purdie <rpurdie@rpsys.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-04-10[ARM] 4956/1: Scoop: sparse cleanupDmitry Baryshkov
Cleanup most errors errors reported by sparse: declare IO space as __iomem, use %p for address printing make functions static Use __devinit instead of __init for scoop_init Make scoop_remove __devexit and use __devexit_p for referencing it. 2006-04-18[ARM] 3478/1: SharpSL SCOOP: Fix potenial build failureRichard Purdie
Patch from Richard Purdie Move platform_scoop_config from the SharpSL scoop PCMCIA driver to the SCOOP driver. This avoids build failures when PCMCIA is not built or is modular (scoop.c itself cannot be modular). Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <rpurdie@rpsys.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-03-21[ARM] Convert kmalloc+memset to kzallocRussell King
Convert all uses of kmalloc followed by memset to use kzalloc instead. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-01-08[PATCH] fix more missing includesTim Schmielau
Include fixes for 2.6.14-git11. Should allow to remove sched.h from module.h on i386, x86_64, arm, ia64, ppc, ppc64, and s390. Probably more to come since I haven't yet checked the other archs. 2006-01-05[ARM] 3230/1: Sharp Scoop: Fix Shared Power Control IssuesRichard Purdie
Patch from Richard Purdie The SL-Cxx00 devices have a power control register in SCOOP that is shared by both CF and MMC/SD card slots. The CF reset code was resetting this register leading to various lockups as the MMC power was suddenly lost. This patch handles the CPR register in a more sensitive manner. It also removes some unneeded collie specific calls as the reset code handles this. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <rpurdie@rpsys.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-11-12[ARM] Fix collie for -rc1Pavel Machek
This fixes compilation for collie after -rc1 platform_device changes. And yes, it even boots. Signed-off-by: Pavel Machek <pavel@suse.cz> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-11-09[DRIVER MODEL] Convert platform drivers to use struct platform_driverRussell King
This allows us to eliminate the casts in the drivers, and eventually remove the use of the device_driver function pointer methods for platform device drivers. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Acked-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2005-11-08[ARM] 3093/1: SharpSL PCMCIA Updates for Cxx00 modelsRichard Purdie
Patch from Richard Purdie The Sharp SL-Cxx00 models have a combined power control for the SD and CF slot 0. This patch adds hooks to the scoop driver to allow machines to provide a custom control function for this and such a function is added for spitz/akita/borzoi. It also moves the gpio init code into the machine files as this is machine dependent and differs between some models. A couple of warnings when compiling for collie are also fixed. Manual #include fixups for clashes - there may be some unnecessary
2005-10-30[PATCH] fix missing includesTim Schmielau
I recently picked up my older work to remove unnecessary #includes of sched.h, starting from a patch by Dave Jones to not include sched.h from module.h. This reduces the number of indirect includes of sched.h by ~300. Another ~400 pointless direct includes can be removed after this disentangling (patch to follow later). However, quite a few indirect includes need to be fixed up for this. In order to feed the patches through -mm with as little disturbance as possible, I've split out the fixes I accumulated up to now (complete for i386 and x86_64, more archs to follow later) and post them before the real patch. This way this large part of the patch is kept simple with only adding #includes, and all hunks are independent of each other. So if any hunk rejects or gets in the way of other patches, just drop it. My scripts will pick it up again in the next round. 2005-10-28[PATCH] DRIVER MODEL: Get rid of the obsolete tri-level suspend/resume callbacksRussell King
In PM v1, all devices were called at SUSPEND_DISABLE level. Then all devices were called at SUSPEND_SAVE_STATE level, and finally SUSPEND_POWER_DOWN level. However, with PM v2, to maintain compatibility for platform devices, I arranged for the PM v2 suspend/resume callbacks to call the old PM v1 suspend/resume callbacks three times with each level in order so that existing drivers continued to work. Since this is obsolete infrastructure which is no longer necessary, we can remove it. Here's an (untested) patch to do exactly that. 2005-10-10[ARM] 2962/1: scoop: Allow GPIO pin suspend state to be specifiedRichard Purdie
Patch from Richard Purdie Allow the GPIO pin suspend states to be specified for SCOOP devices. This is needed for correct operation on the spitz platform. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <rpurdie@rpsys.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2005-09-05[ARM] 2882/1: pxa2xx_sharpsl: Update PCMCIA driver to support variety of new ↵Richard Purdie
hardware Patch from Richard Purdie This patch updates the PCMCIA pxa2xx_sharpsl driver to support multiple scoop devices by adding a scoop to pcmcia slot mapping structure. It adds platform support for poodle, is known to work on spitz (which is dual slot) and should also support collie with a minor amount of further work. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
