2013-06-06ARM: Kirkwood: handle mv88f6282 cpu in __kirkwood_variant().Nicolas Schichan
MPP_F6281_MASK would be previously be returned when on mv88f6282, which would disallow some valid MPP configurations. Commit 830f8b91 (arm: plat-orion: fix printing of "MPP config unavailable on this hardware") made this problem visible as an invalid MPP configuration is now correctly detected and not applied. 2013-05-28ARM: Kirkwood: TS219: Fix crash by double PCIe instantiationAndrew Lunn
When creating the DT based boards-ts219.c the none DT ts219-setup.c was used as a template. This includes a lateinit() call to initialize the PCIe bus. The code makes use of machine_is_ts219() which is never true on DT, so a FIXME was added and the code left as is. This was unproblematic until b73690c8f8b5d: "ARM: Kirkwood: Support basic hotplug for PCI-E" which changes the way the PCIe bus is initialized. The non-DT ts219-setup.c now crashes during boot. The lateinit() call in the DT boards-ts219.c is being called, machine_is_ts219() is true and so the PCIe is initialized a second time. This patch removes the useless, and now clearly dangerous, code from boards-ts219.c, making ts219-setup.c work again. 2013-05-13ARM: Orion: Remove redundant init_dma_coherent_pool_size()Andrew Lunn
The patch: 387870f mm: dmapool: use provided gfp flags for all dma_alloc_coherent() calls makes these calls on Kirkwood and Orion5x redundant. The drivers are not making atomic requests for coherent memory and hence the default pool size is now sufficient. Jason Cooper added mach-mvebu/ hunk, and corrected minor typos in commit message. 2013-04-15arm: mach-kirkwood: convert to use mvebu-mbus driverThomas Petazzoni
This commit migrates the mach-kirkwood platforms to use the mvebu-mbus driver and therefore removes the Kirkwood-specific addr-map code. The kirkwood_init_early() function is now responsible for initializing the mvebu-mbus driver by calling mvebu_mbus_init(). The address decoding windows are now registered in the kirkwood_setup_wins() function. It is worth noting that the four PCIe address decoding windows will ultimately no longer have to be registered here: it will be done automatically by the PCIe driver once Kirkwood has been migrated to use the upcoming mvebu PCIe driver. 2013-03-30ARM: kirkwood: make use of DT mvsdio on guruplug boardSebastian Hesselbarth
Device tree based guruplug boards still use mvsdio platform_data and kirkwood_sdio_init to enable sdio. DT support for sdio is already there, so make use of it. This also fixes mvsdio accidentially breaking nand by configuring mpp0 to gpio, while used also by nand (nand_io2 on mpp0). 2013-03-28ARM: Kirkwood: fix unused mvsdio gpio pinsSebastian Hesselbarth
mvsdio_platform_data allows to pass card detect and write protect gpio numbers to the driver. Some kirkwood boards don't use both pins as they are not connected, and don't set the corresponding value in platform_data. This will leave the unset values in platform_data initialized as 0, which is in fact a valid gpio pin. mvsdio will grab that pin and configure it as gpio, which in turn breaks nand controller as mpp0 also carries nand_io2. This patch fixes the above by initializing unused gpio functions in the platform_data with an invalid (-1) value. 2013-03-08ARM: kirkwood: fix to retain gbe MAC addresses for DT kernelsSebastian Hesselbarth
The ethernet controller used on kirkwood looses its MAC address register contents when the corresponding clock is gated. As soon as mv643xx_eth is built as module, the clock gets gated and when loading the module, the MAC address is gone. Proper DT support for the mv643xx_eth driver is expected soon, so we add a workaround to always enable ge0/ge1 clocks on kirkwood. This workaround is also already used on non-DT kirkwood kernels. git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM SoC mvebu platform changes from Olof Johansson: "This series contains changes for the Marvell EBU platforms (mvebu, orion, kirkwood, dove) that were not part of the first set of pull requests because of dependencies on the MMC tree, and being submitted a little late. Notable changes are: - More devices get moved out of board files into device tree descriptions. The remaining devices listed in there have patches that will get sent for 3.10, after which we can remove a lot of the board files entirely. We are doing the pinctrl and mmc drivers here, ethernet and PCI still remain. - SMP support for mvebu is improved with support for the local interrupt controller. - The Guruplug board file gets replaced with a DT description. Unfortunately, the dependency on the MMC tree turned out to be a much larger problem than expected, when the MMC maintainer rebased the patches in his tree that all of the patches in this branch are based on, which caused merge conflicts between the new and old versions of those patches. To work around the merge conflicts, this branch rebases all patches on top of the respective MMC patches that did get merged into 3.9. The patches are all identical to the versions that were part of linux-next, but have a new commit date." * tag 'late-mvebu-rebased' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (90 commits) arm: mvebu: enable the SD card slot on Armada 370 Reference Design board ARM: kirkwood: topkick: init mvsdio via DT ARM: kirkwood: nsa310: convert to pinctrl ARM: Kirkwood: topkick: Enable i2c bus. Once that is gone and replaced by a DT description of the devices, the inclusion can be removed again Without this patch, building kirkwood_defconfig results in: arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c:42:74: error: array type has incomplete element type arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c:43:2: error: implicit declaration of function 'I2C_BOARD_INFO' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c: In function 'nsa310_gpio_init': arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c:71:3: error: 'pm_power_off' undeclared (first use in this function) arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c:71:3: note: each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c: In function 'nsa310_init': arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c:83:2: error: implicit declaration of function 'i2c_register_board_info' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c:83:121: error: negative width in bit-field '<anonymous>' arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c: At top level: arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/board-nsa310.c:42:74: warning: 'nsa310_i2c_info' defined but not used [-Wunused-variable] cc1: some warnings being treated as errors Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Cc: Jason Cooper <jason@lakedaemon.net>

git://git.linaro.org/people/shawnguo/linux-2.6 into next/cleanup From Shawn Guo: The series cleans up ARCH_HAS_DECOMP_WDOG and arch_decomp_wdog which are unused on ARM architecure. Samsung has some code setting up wdog in arch_decomp_wdog(). But since CONFIG_S3C_BOOT_WATCHDOG is defined nowhere, it will not run. Otherwise, system can not boot at all when wdog is set up but no one pats it. * tag 'cleanup-decompwdog-3.9' of git://git.linaro.org/people/shawnguo/linux-2.6: ARM: samsung: remove unused arch_decomp_wdog() code ARM: remove unused arch_decomp_wdog() ARM: decompress: remove unused ARCH_HAS_DECOMP_WDOG Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>

2013-01-30ARM: Kirkwood: Support basic hotplug for PCI-EJason Gunthorpe
Unconditionally register the PCI-E bus, even if the link is currently down. When the link is brought up the bus can be scanned through /sys/bus/pci/rescan or otherwise. Since the HW has no interrupt for link up, userspace will have to take care of the timing. An earlier version of this was contingent on CONFIG_HOTPLUG, but that is being removed from the kernel. This also fixes printing the link up/down message to be displayed on one line (structured logging broke this?)
