2011-10-25ARM: i.MX28: shift frac value in _CLK_SET_RATEMatt Burtch
Noticed when setting SSP0 in clk_set_rate, _CLK_SET_RATE attempts to reset the clock divider for the SSP0 parent clock, in this case IO0FRAC. Bits 24-29 of HW_CLKCTRL_FRAC0 are cleared correctly, but when the new frac value is written the value isn't shifted up to write the correct bit-field. This results in IO0FRAC being set to 0 and CPUFRAC being corrupted. This should occur when writing IO1FRAC, EMIFRAC in HW_CLKCTRL_FRAC0 and GPMIFRAC, HSADCFRAC in HW_CLKCTRL_FRAC1. Boards used to specify zreladdr in their Makefile.boot with zreladdr-y := x, so conflicting zreladdrs were silently overwritten. This patch changes this to zreladdr-y += x, so that we end up with multiple words in zreladdr in such a case. We can detect this later and complain if necessary. Some platforms (like OMAP not to name it) are doing rather complicated hacks just to determine the base UART address to use. Let's give their addruart macro some slack by providing an extra work register which will allow for much needed cleanups. This is basically a no-op as this commit is only adding the extra argument to the macro but no one is using it yet. 2011-08-12ARM: gpio: make trivial GPIOLIB implementation the defaultRussell King
Rather than marking the mach/gpio.h header files which want to use the trivial GPIOLIB implementation, mark those which do not want to use it instead. This means that by default, you get the trivial implementation and only have to do something extra if you need to. This should encourage the use of the trivial default implementation. As an additional bonus, several gpio.h header files become empty. 2011-06-21net: remove mm.h inclusion from netdevice.hAlexey Dobriyan
Remove linux/mm.h inclusion from netdevice.h -- it's unused (I've checked manually). To prevent mm.h inclusion via other channels also extract "enum dma_data_direction" definition into separate header. This tiny piece is what gluing netdevice.h with mm.h via "netdevice.h => dmaengine.h => dma-mapping.h => scatterlist.h => mm.h". Removal of mm.h from scatterlist.h was tried and was found not feasible on most archs, so the link was cutoff earlier. Hope people are OK with tiny include file. GPIO drivers are getting moved to drivers/gpio for cleanup and consolidation. This patch moves the mxs driver.
