Fix: WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text+0x1a820): Section mismatch in reference from the function eseries_register_clks() to the function .init.text:clkdev_add_table() The function eseries_register_clks() references the function __init clkdev_add_table(). This is often because eseries_register_clks lacks a __init annotation or the annotation of clkdev_add_table is wrong. by adding the __init annotation to eseries_register_clks() - this function is only called from other __init-marked functions. 2011-10-17ARM: 7022/1: allow to detect conflicting zreladdrsSascha Hauer
Boards used to specify zreladdr in their Makefile.boot with zreladdr-y := x, so conflicting zreladdrs were silently overwritten. This patch changes this to zreladdr-y += x, so that we end up with multiple words in zreladdr in such a case. We can detect this later and complain if necessary. This tries to clear up the confusion between integers and iomem pointers in the marvell pxa platform. MMIO addresses are supposed to be __iomem* values, in order to let the Linux type checking work correctly. This patch moves the cast to __iomem as far back as possible, to the place where the MMIO virtual address windows are defined. We cannot support ARMv5 and ARMv7 based boards in a single kernel, so introduce a new option in mach-pxa to select between the two. The PJ4 (ARMv7) based boards are now only visible when CONFIG_ARCH_PXA_V7 is set, the other boards are only visible when it's not set. When support for zylonite is disabled, the zylonite_pxa300_init and zylonite_pxa320_init functions are not there, but the declaration is still kept around if any other boards for the same soc are enabled. Some platforms (like OMAP not to name it) are doing rather complicated hacks just to determine the base UART address to use. Let's give their addruart macro some slack by providing an extra work register which will allow for much needed cleanups. This is basically a no-op as this commit is only adding the extra argument to the macro but no one is using it yet. Current pxa3xx_nand controller has two chip select which both be workable. This patch enable this feature. Update platform driver to support this feature. Another notice should be taken that: When you want to use this feature, you should not enable the keep configuration feature, for two chip select could be attached with different nand chip. Aside of the usual motivation for constification, this function has a history of being abused a hook for interrupt and other fixups so I turned this function const ages ago in the MIPS code but it should be done treewide. Due to function pointer passing in varous places a few other functions had to be constified as well.
