2009-12-01ARM: S3C: Update Simtec copyright statements from , to - [2]Ben Dooks
There are a number of statements of the form A, B or A, B, C where the numbers A,B,C are not consecutive. However, referencing [1] it is the correct thing to replace these with A-B or A-C as apropriate. 2009-12-01ARM: S3C: Fix Simtec copyright statements in Documentation/S3C24XXBen Dooks
The (c) alone is not a sufficient copyright statement, nor is it a good replacement for the proper encircled © symbol [1]. Add the word copyright to the apropriate places and remove the (c) symbol. [1] http://www.copyrightservice.co.uk/copyright/p03_copyright_notices section 4 'What does a notice consist of?' 2008-10-09[ARM] 5298/1: Drop desc_handle_irq()Dmitry Baryshkov
desc_handle_irq() was declared as obsolete since long ago. Replace it with generic_handle_irq() Signed-off-by: Dmitry Baryshkov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-10-07[ARM] S3C24XX: Move files out of include/asm-arm/plat-s3c*Ben Dooks
First move of items out of include/asm-arm/plat-s3c* to their new homes under arch/arm/plat-s3c/include/plat and arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx/include/plat directories. Note, we have to create a dummy arch/arm/plat-s3c/Makefile to allow us to add arch/arm/plat-s3c/include/plat to the path. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-09-06[ARM] Convert asm/io.h to linux/io.hRussell King

2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King
Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-04-21[ARM] Remove needless linux/ptrace.h includesRussell King
Lots of places in arch/arm were needlessly including linux/ptrace.h, resumably because we used to pass a struct pt_regs to interrupt handlers. Now that we don't, all these ptrace.h includes are redundant. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-02-11[ARM] 4157/2: S3C24XX: move arch/arch/mach-s3c2410 into cpu componentsBen Dooks
The following patch and script moves the arch/arm/mach-s3c2410 directory into arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx for the generic core code and inti arch/arm/mach-s3c{cpu} for the cpu/machine support files Include directory include/asm-arm/plat-s3c24xx is added for the core include files. 2006-10-06Initial blind fixup for arm for irq changesLinus Torvalds
Untested, but this should fix up the bulk of the totally mechanical issues, and should make the actual detail fixing easier. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-09-25[ARM] 3843/1: S3C24XX: Remove modfication lines from commentsBen Dooks

2006-07-01[ARM] 3699/1: ARM: Convert s3c2410 to generic irq handlingThomas Gleixner

2005-09-07[ARM] 2884/1: BAST - fix PC104 IRQ routingBen Dooks
Patch from Ben Dooks This has been broken for a while now, so fix the problems with the code, test and bring up to date. This also makes the code conditional on an Kconfig option Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-04[ARM] Wrap calls to descriptor handlersRussell King
This is part of Thomas Gleixner's generic IRQ patch, which converts ARM to use the generic IRQ subsystem. Here, we wrap calls to desc->handler() in an inline function, desc_handle_irq(). This reduces the size of Thomas' patch since the changes become more localised. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-04-16Linux-2.6.12-rc2v2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
