2012-03-21Merge branch 'tegra/cleanups' into next/timerArnd Bergmann
Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-tegra/Makefile arch/arm/mach-vexpress/core.h The tegra Makefile was changed in four different branches in the same line. This merge should reduce the amount of churn. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2012-03-20Merge branch 'renesas/timer' into next/timerArnd Bergmann
Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-shmobile/timer.c This resolves a nonobvious merge conflict between renesas timer changes in the global timer changes with those from the renesas soc branch and last minute bug fixes that went into v3.3. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2012-03-19Merge branch 'for-3.4/cleanup-and-fixes' of ↵Arnd Bergmann
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/olof/tegra into tegra/cleanups * 'for-3.4/cleanup-and-fixes' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/olof/tegra: ARM: tegra: select USB_ULPI if USB is selected arm/tegra: pcie: fix return value of function arm/tegra: add timeout to PCIe PLL lock detection loop arm/tegra: fix harmony pinmux for PCIe
2012-03-18ARM: tegra: select USB_ULPI if USB is selectedArnd Bergmann
Automatically select USB_ULPI if USB is enabled on Tegra. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Alan Ott <alan@signal11.us> Acked-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2012-03-18arm/tegra: pcie: fix return value of functionDmitry Artamonow
In previous patch (arm/tegra: add timeout to PCIe PLL lock detection loop) tegra_pcie_enable_controller() function type has been changed from void to int, but the last return statement wasn't converted, so function returns undefined value. Fix it. Also while at it, address couple of minor concerns raised by reviewers: use usleep_range for delay, and lower the value of timeout to 300ms to be consistent with Nvidia Vibrante kernel. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Acked-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@wwwdotorg.org> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2012-03-15Merge branch 'renesas/fixes' into renesas/socArnd Bergmann
The fixes branch was merged into mainline just after v3.3-rc7, I'm merging it into this branch to fix up a nontrivial merge conflict. Unfortunately this means that we are now based on a commit between -rc releases, which we normally try to avoid. Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-shmobile/board-mackerel.c Resolution suggested by Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2012-03-15ARM: ux500: fix compilation after local timer reworkMarc Zyngier
mach-ux500/timer.c lacked the inclusion of mach/irqs.h, and thus failed to compile. Fix it and also remove an unused variable. Test compiled only. Reported-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Cc: Arnd Bergman <arnd@arndb.de> Cc: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2012-03-14ARM: shmobile: remove additional __io() macro useArnd Bergmann
setup-r8a7779.c has grown a new user of the __io() macro. Rob Herring's PIO cleanup series already gets rid of all other uses in shmobile, so we should ensure that this one gets removed as well. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Rafael J. Wysocki <rjw@sisk.pl>

2012-03-13ARM: smp_twd: add runtime registration supportMarc Zyngier
Add support for the new registration interface to smp_twd. Platforms can populate a struct twd_local_timer with MMIO and IRQ resources, and then call twd_local_timer_register() to have the timer registered with the core. Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2012-03-13ARM: local timers: introduce a new registration interfaceMarc Zyngier
In order to switch to a runtime selectable local timer, add a registration interface that timer drivers can use to register to the core. local_timer_setup() and local_timer_stop() are made weak symbols in order not to break existing setups. Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2012-03-13ARM: smp_twd: make local_timer_stop a symbol instead of a #defineMarc Zyngier
When CONFIG_HAVE_ARM_TWD is selected, local_timer_stop is a #define, while all other local timers are using a real function. Convert it to an alias of twd_timer_stop, as it helps converting all local timers to another internal API in a sane way. Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
