2009-09-30m68knommu: show KiB rather than pages in "Freeing initrd memory:" messageLennart Sorensen
Fix "Freeing initrd memory:" message m68knommu to show kilobytes as claimed rather than number of pages. Signed-off-by: Lennart Sorensen <lsorense@csclub.uwaterloo.ca> Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org>

2009-03-24m68knommu: mark all RAM as ZONE_DMAGreg Ungerer
There is no reason not to put all RAM in ZONE_DMA for these simple m68k varients (same as the standard MMU m68k code does). With this in place the usual dma_alloc_coherent() work as expected. Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org>
2008-07-26m68knommu: use generic show_mem()Johannes Weiner
Remove arch-specific show_mem() in favor of the generic version. This also removes the following redundant information display: - free pages, printed by show_free_areas() - pages in swapcache, printed by show_swap_cache_info() where show_mem() calls show_free_areas(), which calls show_swap_cache_info(). 2007-10-23m68knommu: mark mem init functions as __initGreg Ungerer
Mark the m68knommu memory init functions as __init. Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2007-07-19m68knommu: remove is_in_rom() functionGreg Ungerer
Remove is_in_rom() function. It doesn't actually serve the purpose it was intended to. If you look at the use of it _access_ok() (which is the only use of it) then it is obvious that most of memory is marked as access_ok. No point having is_in_rom() then, so remove it. 2007-07-16m68knommu: remove old cache management cruft from mm codeGreg Ungerer
Remove cache management cruft. This code is dead, all the cache manangement functions for the ColdFire exist in the header file include/asm-m68knommu/cacheflush.h. 2006-09-26[PATCH] reduce MAX_NR_ZONES: fix MAX_NR_ZONES array initializationsChristoph Lameter
Fix array initialization in lots of arches The number of zones may now be reduced from 4 to 2 for many arches. Fix the array initialization for the zones array for all architectures so that it is not initializing a fixed number of elements. 2006-06-25[PATCH] m68knommu: remove use of rom_lengthGreg Ungerer
Remove use of rom_length. It serves not real purpose, and when we move to new stye RAM configuration it will not be needed. Signed-off-by: Greg Ungerer <gerg@uclinux.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-03-22[PATCH] remove set_page_count() outside mm/Nick Piggin
set_page_count usage outside mm/ is limited to setting the refcount to 1. Remove set_page_count from outside mm/, and replace those users with init_page_count() and set_page_refcounted(). This allows more debug checking, and tighter control on how code is allowed to play around with page->_count. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
