Remove 'arch/mips/include/asm/mips-boards/prom.h' and get rid of all inclusions of it by Malta and SEAD-3 platforms. 2013-05-08MIPS: Add declarations to MIPS Technologies Inc. generic header.Steven J. Hill
Add declaration of 'mips_scroll_message' and 'mips_display_message' to the common generic header file for the MIPS Technologies Inc. development boards. Signed-off-by: Steven J. Hill <Steven.Hill@imgtec.com>

2013-02-01MIPS: Whitespace cleanup.Ralf Baechle
Having received another series of whitespace patches I decided to do this once and for all rather than dealing with this kind of patches trickling in forever. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2013-02-01MIPS: SEAD3: Implement OF support.Steven J. Hill
Activate USE_OF for SEAD-3 platform. Add basic DTS file and convert memory detection and reservations to use OF. [ralf@linux-mips.org: Remove unnecessary #ifdef wrapper in generic.h. Make <asm/mips-boards/generic.h> inclusion work even without prior <linux/of_fdt.h> inclusion.] Signed-off-by: Steven J. 2012-09-25MIPS: MIPSsim: Remove the MIPSsim platform.Steven J. Hill
The MIPSsim platform is no longer supported or used. [ralf@linux-mips.org: Also remove mipssim from arch/mips/Kbuild.platforms and delete arch/mips/include/asm/mach-mipssim/*.] Signed-off-by: Steven J. Hill <sjhill@mips.com> Cc: linux-mips@linux-mips.org Patchwork: https://patchwork.linux-mips.org/patch/4350/ Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2012-09-13MIPS: Make GIC code platform independent.Steven J. Hill
The GIC interrupt code is used by multiple platforms and the current code was half Malta dependent code. These changes abstract away the platform specific differences. Signed-off-by: Steven J. Hill <sjhill@mips.com>
2012-09-13MIPS: Add core files for MIPS SEAD-3 development platform.Steven J. Hill
More information about the SEAD-3 platform can be found at <http://www.mips.com/products/development-kits/mips-sead-3/> on MTI's site. Currently, the M14K family of cores is what the SEAD-3 is utilised with. Signed-off-by: Douglas Leung <douglas@mips.com> Signed-off-by: Chris Dearman <chris@mips.com> Signed-off-by: Steven J. 2012-07-06MIPS: Clean-up GIC and vectored interrupts.Steven J. Hill
This change adds macros for routing of GIC interrupts for EIC and non-EIC hardware modes. Also added Malta GIC macros having to do with performance and timer interrupts. Signed-off-by: Steven J. Hill <sjhill@mips.com> Cc: linux-mips@linux-mips.org Patchwork: https://patchwork.linux-mips.org/patch/3576/ Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2012-05-15MIPS: remove unused prototype kgdb_configJohn Crispin

2009-12-17MIPS: Bonito64: Make Loongson independent from Bonito64 code.Wu Zhangjin
The built-in Loongson 2E/2F northbridge in is bonito64-compatible but not identical with it. To avoid influencing the original bonito64 support and make the loongson support more maintainable, it's better to separate the Bonito64 code from the Loongson code. This also prepares the kernel for the coming Loongson 2f machines family support. 2009-09-17MIPS: Loongson: Change naming methodsWu Zhangjin
To make source code of loongson sharable to the machines(such as gdium) made by the other companies, we rename arch/mips/lemote to arch/mips/loongson, asm/mach-lemote to asm/mach-loongson, and rename lm2e to the name of the machine: fuloong-2e. accordingly, FULONG are renamed to FULOONG2E to make it distinguishable to the future FULOONG2F. and also, some other relative tuning is needed. 2009-03-30MIPS: Malta: make a needlessly global integer variable staticDmitri Vorobiev
The variable `mips_revision_corid' is needlessly defined global in arch/mips/mti-malta/malta-init.c, and this patch makes it static. Build-tested with malta_defconfig. Signed-off-by: Dmitri Vorobiev <dmitri.vorobiev@movial.com> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
