Move all EXPORT_SYMBOLs to their corresponding definitions. Signed-off-by: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2008-12-25[S390] ftrace: function tracer backend for s390Heiko Carstens
This implements just the basic function tracer (_mcount) backend for s390. The dynamic variant will come later. Signed-off-by: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2008-04-17Generic semaphore implementationMatthew Wilcox
Semaphores are no longer performance-critical, so a generic C implementation is better for maintainability, debuggability and extensibility. Thanks to Peter Zijlstra for fixing the lockdep warning. Thanks to Harvey Harrison for pointing out that the unlikely() was unnecessary. Signed-off-by: Matthew Wilcox <willy@linux.intel.com> Acked-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>
2007-08-22[S390] vmur: fix diag14 exceptions with addresses > 2GB.Michael Holzheu
There are several s390 diagnose calls, which must be executed below the 2GB memory boundary. In order to enforce this, those diagnoses must be compiled into the kernel. Currently diag 14 can be called within the vmur kernel module from addresses above 2GB. This leads to specification exceptions. This patch moves diag10, diag14 and diag210 into the new diag.c file. 2006-01-10[PATCH] don't include ioctl32.h in driversChristoph Hellwig
These days ioctl32.h is only used for communication of fs/compat.c and fs/compat_ioctl.c and doesn't contain anything of interest to drivers. Remove inclusion in various drivers. 2005-05-01[PATCH] s390: default storage keyPeter Oberparleiter
Provide an easy way to define a non-zero storage key at compile time. This is useful for debugging purposes. Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
