2006-10-03[PATCH] ide: remove dma_base2 field from ide_hwif_tSergei Shtylyov
Remove dma_base2 field from ide_hwif_t as it's used only in 2 drivers and without great need. 2006-10-03[PATCH] ide: fix revision comparison in ide_in_drive_listKirill Smelkov
Fix ide_in_drive_list: drive_table->id_firmware should be searched *in* id->fw_rev, not vice versa. 2006-10-03[PATCH] IDE: always release DMA engineSergei Shtylylov
Release the DMA engine for the custom mapping IDE drivers also (for example, siimage.c does allocate it in both I/O-mapped and custom-mapped modes). Remove useless code from the error path of ide_allocate_dma_engine(). 2006-10-03[PATCH] IDE: claim extra DMA ports regardless of channelSergei Shtylylov
- Claim extra DMA I/O ports regardless of what IDE channels are present/enabled. - Remove extra ports handling from ide_mapped_mmio_dma() since it's not applicable to the custom-mapping IDE drivers. 2006-09-30[PATCH] Split struct request ->flags into two partsJens Axboe
Right now ->flags is a bit of a mess: some are request types, and others are just modifiers. Clean this up by splitting it into ->cmd_type and ->cmd_flags. This allows introduction of generic Linux block message types, useful for sending generic Linux commands to block devices. Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <axboe@suse.de>
2006-07-28[PATCH] ide: if the id fields looks screwy, disable DMAJens Axboe
It's the safer choice. Originally due to a bug in itx821x, but a generally sound thing to do. Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <axboe@suse.de>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
