2014-02-04[media] radio-keene: Use module_usb_driverSachin Kamat
module_usb_driver eliminates the boilerplate and makes the code simpler. Signed-off-by: Sachin Kamat <sachin.kamat@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <m.chehab@samsung.com>

2013-06-13[media] radio-keene: add delay in order to settle hardwareAntti Palosaari
It was found by trial and error testing that at least 11 ms delay is needed before first I/O, otherwise device will skip given command. Signed-off-by: Antti Palosaari <crope@iki.fi> Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2013-06-13[media] radio-keene: set initial frequencyHans Verkuil
The device was never set to the initial frequency. Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2013-03-24[media] v4l2: add const to argument of write-only s_frequency ioctlHans Verkuil
This ioctl is defined as IOW, so pass the argument as const. Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2013-01-24[media] radio: set vfl_dir correctly to fix modulator regressionHans Verkuil
The vfl_dir field should be set to indicate whether a device can receive data, output data or can do both. This is used to let the v4l core know which ioctls should be accepted and which can be refused. Unfortunately, when this field was added the radio modulator drivers were not updated: radio modulators transmit and so vfl_dir should be set to VFL_DIR_TX (or VFL_DIR_M2M in the special case of wl128x). Because of this omission it is not possible to call g/s_modulator for these drivers, which effectively renders them useless. This patch sets the correct vfl_dir value for these drivers, correcting this bug. Thanks to Paul Grinberg for bringing this to my attention. 2012-09-26[media] v4l2: make vidioc_s_modulator constHans Verkuil
Write-only ioctls should have a const argument in the ioctl op. Do this conversion for vidioc_s_modulator. Adding const for write-only ioctls was decided during the 2012 Media Workshop. Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>

2012-04-19[media] V4L: fix incorrect refcountingHans Verkuil
Both radio-keene and dsbr100 did one v4l2_device_get too many. Thus the refcount never became 0 and that causes a memory leak. Also updated the V4L2 framework documentation accordingly. Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>

version.h The output of "make versioncheck" told us that: drivers/media/radio/radio-keene.c: 31 linux/version.h not needed. After take a look in the code, we can agree to remove it.
