2012-07-30[media] cx25821: Remove bad strcpy to read-only char*Ezequiel García
The strcpy was being used to set the name of the board. This was both wrong and redundant, since the destination char* was read-only and the name is set statically at compile time. The type of the name field is changed to const char* to prevent future errors. 2012-07-30[media] cx25821: Remove useless struct i2c_algo_bit_dataEzequiel García
The field 'struct i2c_algo_bit_data i2c_algo' is wrongly confused with struct i2c_algorithm. Moreover, i2c_algo field is not used since i2c is registered using i2c_add_adpater() and not i2c_bit_add_bus(). Therefore, it's safe to remove it. Tested by compilation only. module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy trick. It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option.
