2012-05-24[media] mt9p031: Implement V4L2_CID_PIXEL_RATE controlLaurent Pinchart
The pixel rate control is required by the OMAP3 ISP driver and should be implemented by all media controller-compatible sensor drivers. 2012-05-14[media] mt9p031: Implement black level compensation controlLaurent Pinchart
Add four new controls to configure black level compensation (BLC): - V4L2_CID_BLC_AUTO selects between manual and auto BLC - V4L2_CID_BLC_TARGET_LEVEL sets the target level for auto BLC - V4L2_CID_BLC_ANALOG_OFFSET sets the analog offset for manual BLC - V4L2_CID_BLC_DIGITAL_OFFSET sets the digital offset for manual BLC Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2012-05-14[media] mt9p031: Replace the reset board callback by a GPIO numberLaurent Pinchart
Use the GPIO from the sensor driver instead of calling back to board code. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2012-05-14[media] mt9p031: Identify color/mono models using I2C device nameLaurent Pinchart
Instead of passing a color/monochrome flag through platform data, rely on the I2C device name to identify the chip model. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2012-03-19[media] mt9p031: Use generic PLL setup codeLaurent Pinchart
Compute the PLL parameters at runtime using the generic Aptina PLL helper. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com> Acked-by: Sakari Ailus <sakari.ailus@iki.fi> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2012-03-19[media] mt9p031: Remove unused xskip and yskip fields in struct mt9p031Laurent Pinchart
The fields are set but never used, remove them. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com> Reviewed-by: Sakari Ailus <sakari.ailus@iki.fi> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>

2012-03-08[media] convert drivers/media/* to use module_i2c_driver()Axel Lin
This patch converts the drivers in drivers/media/* to use the module_i2_driver() macro which makes the code smaller and a bit simpler. 2011-11-07[media] v4l: mt9p031/mt9t001: Use i2c_smbus_{read|write}_word_swapped()Laurent Pinchart
The MT9P031 and MT9T001 sensors transfer 16-bit data on the I2C bus in swapped order. Let the I2C core handle byte order by using the i2c_smbus_{read|write}_word_swapped() functions. 2011-10-08[media] drivers/media: fix dependencies in video mt9t001/mt9p031Paul Gortmaker
Both mt9t001.c and mt9p031.c have two identical issues, those being that they will need module.h inclusion for the upcoming cleanup going on there, and that their dependencies don't limit selection of configs that will fail to compile as follows: The related config options are CONFIG_MEDIA_CONTROLLER and CONFIG_VIDEO_V4L2_SUBDEV_API. Looking at the code, it appears that the driver was never intended to work without these enabled, so add a dependency on CONFIG_VIDEO_V4L2_SUBDEV_API, which in turn already has a dependency on CONFIG_MEDIA_CONTROLLER. 2011-09-11[media] mt9p031: Aptina (Micron) MT9P031 5MP sensor driverJavier Martin
The MT9P031 is a parallel 12-bit 5MP sensor from Aptina (formerly Micron) controlled through I2C. The driver creates a V4L2 subdevice. It currently supports skipping, cropping, automatic binning, and gain, exposure, h/v flip and test pattern controls.
