2013-10-23mfd: da9052: Avoid multiwrite mode due to silicon errataDavid Jander
DA9053 (up to revision bc) can corrupt internal registers when multi-write mode is enabled and power is removed or during shutdown. Signed-off-by: David Jander <david@protonic.nl> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2013-02-14mfd: da9052-i2c: Staticize da9052_i2c_fix()Fabio Estevam
da9052_i2c_fix() is only used locally, so let it be static. Fix the following sparse warning: drivers/mfd/da9052-i2c.c:63:5: warning: symbol 'da9052_i2c_fix' was not declared. Should it be static? 2013-01-27mfd: da9052/53 lockup fixAshish Jangam
An issue has been reported where the PMIC either locks up or fails to respond following a system Reset. This could result in a second write in which the bus writes the current content of the write buffer to address of the last I2C access. The failure case is where this unwanted write transfers incorrect data to a critical register. This patch fixes this issue to by following any read or write with a dummy read to a safe register address. A safe register address is one where the contents will not affect the operation of the system. 2012-09-11mfd/da9052: make i2c_device_id array constArnd Bergmann
This is possible since *of_device_id.data became const. While at it also drop a cast to const that was never needed. [ukl: split Arnd's patch by driver and add changlog] Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Uwe Kleine-König <u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.de>
