2013-05-03cxgb4: fix error recovery when t4_fw_hello returns a positive valueThadeu Lima de Souza Cascardo
Since commit 636f9d371f70f22961fd598fe18380057518ca31 ("cxgb4: Add support for T4 configuration file"), t4_fw_hello may return a positive value instead of 0 for success. The recovery code tests only for zero and fails recovery for any other value. This fix tests for negative error values and fails only on those cases. Error recovery after an error injection works after this change. Signed-off-by: Thadeu Lima de Souza Cascardo <cascardo@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2013-04-29cxgb4vf: Support CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATEs encapsulated in a CPL_FW4_MSGVipul Pandya
Newer firmware can post CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATE message encapsulated in a CPL_FW4_MSG as follows flit0 rss_header (if DropRSS == 0 in IQ context) flit1 CPL_FW4_MSG cpl flit2 rss_header w/opcode CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATE flit3 CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATE cpl So FW4_MSG CPLs with a newly created type of FW_TYPE_RSSCPL have the CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATE CPL message in flit 2 of the FW4_MSG. Firmware can still post regular CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATE messages, so the drivers need to handle both. This patch also writes a new parameter to firmware requesting encapsulated EGR_UPDATE. This allows firmware with this support to not break older drivers. Signed-off-by: Vipul Pandya <vipul@chelsio.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2013-04-19net: vlan: add protocol argument to packet tagging functionsPatrick McHardy
Add a protocol argument to the VLAN packet tagging functions. In case of HW tagging, we need that protocol available in the ndo_start_xmit functions, so it is stored in a new field in the skb. The new field fits into a hole (on 64 bit) and doesn't increase the sks's size. Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2013-03-20chelsio: add headroom in RX pathEric Dumazet
Drivers should reserve some headroom in skb used in receive path, to avoid future head reallocation. 2013-03-14RDMA/cxgb4: Use DSGLs for fastreg and adapter memory writes for T5.Vipul Pandya
It enables direct DMA by HW to memory region PBL arrays and fast register PBL arrays from host memory, vs the T4 way of passing these arrays in the WR itself. The result is lower latency for memory registration, and larger PBL array support for fast register operations. This patch also updates ULP_TX_MEM_WRITE command fields for T5. Ordering bit of ULP_TX_MEM_WRITE is at bit position 22 in T5 and at 23 in T4. Signed-off-by: Vipul Pandya <vipul@chelsio.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2013-03-14cxgb4: Add T5 write combining supportSantosh Rastapur
This patch implements a low latency Write Combining (aka Write Coalescing) work request path. PCIE maps User Space Doorbell BAR2 region writes to the new interface to SGE. SGE pulls a new message from PCIE new interface and if its a coalesced write work request then pushes it for processing. This patch copies coalesced work request to memory mapped BAR2 space. 2012-12-19RDMA/cxgb4: Fix bug for active and passive LE hash collision pathVipul Pandya
Retries active opens for INUSE errors. Logs any active ofld_connect_wr error replies. Sends ofld_connect_wr on same ctrlq. It needs to go on the same control txq as regular CPL active/passive messages. Retries on active open replies with EADDRINUSE. Uses active open fw wr only if active filter region is set. 2012-12-19RDMA/cxgb4: Fix LE hash collision bug for passive open connectionVipul Pandya
It establishes passive open connection through firmware work request. Passive open connection will go through this path as now instead of listening server we create a server filter which will redirect the incoming SYN packet to the offload queue. After this driver tries to establish the connection using firmware work request. Signed-off-by: Vipul Pandya <vipul@chelsio.com> Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <roland@purestorage.com>
2012-12-19RDMA/cxgb4: Fix LE hash collision bug for active open connectionVipul Pandya
It enables establishing active open connection using fw_ofld_connection work request when cpl_act_open_rpl says TCAM full error which may be because of LE hash collision. Current support is only for IPv4 active open connections. Sets ntuple bits in active open requests. For T4 firmware greater than 1.4.10.0 ntuple bits are required to be set. Adds nocong and enable_ecn module parameter options. 2012-12-19cxgb4: Add LE hash collision bug fix path in LLD driverVipul Pandya
It supports establishing passive open connection through firmware filter work request. Passive open connection will go through this path as now instead of listening server we create a server filter which will redirect the incoming SYN packet to the offload queue. It divides filter region into regular filters and server filter portion. It introduces new server filter region which will be exclusively used for creating server filters. This region will not overlap with regular filter region. It provides new API cxgb4_alloc_sftid in LLD for getting stid in case of LE hash collision path. This new stid will be used to open server filter in the filter region. Signed-off-by: Vipul Pandya <vipul@chelsio.com> Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <roland@purestorage.com>
2012-12-19cxgb4: Add T4 filter supportVipul Pandya
The T4 architecture is capable of filtering ingress packets at line rate using the rule in TCAM. If packet hits a rule in the TCAM then it can be either dropped or passed to the receive queues based on a rule settings. This patch adds framework for managing filters and to use T4's filter capabilities. It constructs a Firmware Filter Work Request which writes the filter at a specified index to get the work done. It hosts shadow copy of ingress filter entry to check field size limitations and save memory in the case where the filter table is large.
