2010-11-12ucc_geth: Do not bring the whole IF down when TX failure.Joakim Tjernlund
ucc_geth_close lacks a cancel_work_sync(&ugeth->timeout_work) to stop any outstanding processing of TX fail. 2010-07-18net: preserve ifreq parameter when calling generic phy_mii_ioctl().Richard Cochran
The phy_mii_ioctl() function unnecessarily throws away the original ifreq. We need access to the ifreq in order to support PHYs that can perform hardware time stamping. Two maverick drivers filter the ioctl commands passed to phy_mii_ioctl(). This is unnecessary since phylib will check the command in any case. 2010-05-22of: Remove duplicate fields from of_platform_driverGrant Likely
.name, .match_table and .owner are duplicated in both of_platform_driver and device_driver. This patch is a removes the extra copies from struct of_platform_driver and converts all users to the device_driver members. This patch is a pretty mechanical change. The usage model doesn't change and if any drivers have been missed, or if anything has been fixed up incorrectly, then it will fail with a compile time error, and the fixup will be trivial. This patch looks big and scary because it touches so many files, but it should be pretty safe. 2009-07-22ucc_geth: Revive fixed link supportAnton Vorontsov
Since commit 0b9da337dca972e7a4144e298ec3adb8f244d4a4 ("Rework ucc_geth driver to use of_mdio infrastructure") the fixed-link support is broken. This patch fixes the support by removing !ug_info->phy_node check, and adds a call to of_phy_connect_fixed_link() if a phy is not attached to the MAC. Also, remove an old fixed-link code that we don't use any longer. 2009-07-07ucc_geth: Add support for skb recyclingAnton Vorontsov
We can reclaim transmitted skbs to use in the receive path, so-called skb recycling support. Also reorder ucc_geth_poll() steps, so that we'll clean tx ring firstly, thus maybe reclaim some skbs for rx. Signed-off-by: Anton Vorontsov <avorontsov@ru.mvista.com> Signed-off-by: David S. 2009-07-05net: use NETDEV_TX_OK instead of 0 in ndo_start_xmit() functionsPatrick McHardy
This patch is the result of an automatic spatch transformation to convert all ndo_start_xmit() return values of 0 to NETDEV_TX_OK. Some occurences are missed by the automatic conversion, those will be handled in a seperate patch. Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net> Signed-off-by: David S.
