2012-03-29Merge git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/brodo/pcmciaLinus Torvalds
Pull a few PCMCIA updates from Dominik Brodowski. Fix up trivial conflict (modified code in question had been removed) in drivers/pcmcia/soc_common.c. * git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/brodo/pcmcia: pcmcia at91_cf: fix raw gpio number usage ARM: pxa: fix error handling in pxa2xx_drv_pcmcia_probe pcmcia: Convert to DEFINE_PCI_DEVICE_TABLE pcmcia: convert drivers/pcmcia/* to use module_platform_driver() pcmcia: irq: Remove IRQF_DISABLED
2012-03-03pcmcia: convert drivers/pcmcia/* to use module_platform_driver()Axel Lin
This patch converts the drivers in drivers/pcmcia/* to use the module_platform_driver() macro which makes the code smaller and a bit simpler. 2012-02-21PCMCIA: soc_common: remove explicit wrprot initialization in socket driversRussell King
soc_common already initializes state.wrprot to zero, so explicitly setting wrprot to zero in the socket drivers has no additional effect. Acked-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2012-02-04PCMCIA: pxa: convert PXA socket drivers to use new irq/gpio managementRussell King
Convert all the PXA platform socket drivers to use the new irq/gpio management provided by soc_common. This relieves these drivers from having to do anything with these GPIOs other than provide the numbers to soc_common. Acked-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2011-07-29pcmcia: pxa2xx: remove empty socket_init / socket_resume functions.Jonathan Cameron
Now the are optional, let us get rid of the ones that don't have any content. Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@cam.ac.uk> Signed-off-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net>
2009-12-13[ARM] pxa/zeus: make Viper pcmcia support more generic to support ZeusMarc Zyngier
The Arcom Zeus CF slot requires the same kind of support as the Viper. To avoid code duplication, introduce a platform device that abstracts the differences. This also allows for the removal of the ugly export of viper_cf_rst(). Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <maz@misterjones.org> Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.y.miao@gmail.com>
2009-11-09PCMCIA: stop duplicating pci_irq in soc_pcmcia_socketRussell King - ARM Linux
skt->irq is a mere duplication of pcmcia_socket's pci_irq member. Get rid of it. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net>
2009-03-09[ARM] pxa: remove unnecessary #include of pxa-regs.h and hardware.hEric Miao
pxa-regs.h and hardware.h are not intended for use directly in driver code, remove those unnecessary references. Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
2008-09-09Add support for the Arcom/Eurotech Viper SBC CompactFlash card slotMarc Zyngier
The Arcom/Eurotech Viper needs some extra care to run. On this board, the PC104 connector is actually wired to the second PCMCIA slot. Therefore, this second socket needs to be enabled, despite not being managed by the PCMCIA code. I'd rather have the MECR setup in the platform support code so I could, for example, use the PC104 bus without having the PCMCIA module loaded. Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@altran.com>
