2012-09-10usb: gadget: libcomposite: move MODULE_VERSION to composite.cSebastian Andrzej Siewior
MODULE_VERSION and AUTHOR looks better in composite.c than in usbstrings.c so I move it there. I put David Brownell as the module Author as I belive he wrote most of it. 2012-09-10usb: gadget: start with libcompositeSebastian Andrzej Siewior
This patch aims to be simple. It removes #include usbstribgs.c line from each gadget and creates libcomposite.ko which has only one member, that is usbstribgs.c. 2011-11-18USB: remove homegrown UTF conversion routine for gadgetsAlan Stern
This patch (as1502) removes the UTF8-to-UTF16 conversion routine in the USB gadget library and replaces it with a call to the equivalent function in the NLS library. The only downside worth noting is that the NLS library routine requires the output buffer to be 16-bit aligned. This is always true in the gadget code, because the output buffer is always a usb_request buffer being used to send a string descriptor. 2009-05-08USB: Gadget: fix UTF conversion in the usbstring libraryAlan Stern
This patch (as1234) fixes a bug in the UTF8 -> UTF-16 conversion routine in the gadget/usbstring library. In a UTF-8 multi-byte sequence, all bytes after the first should have their high-order two bits set to 10, not 11. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
