2013-05-16USB: ehci-sead3: remove unnecessary platform_set_drvdata()Jingoo Han
The driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or on probe failure, since commit 0998d0631001288a5974afc0b2a5f568bcdecb4d (device-core: Ensure drvdata = NULL when no driver is bound). Thus, it is not needed to manually clear the device driver data to NULL. Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Acked-by: Steven J. 2013-01-22usb: Convert to devm_ioremap_resource()Thierry Reding
Convert all uses of devm_request_and_ioremap() to the newly introduced devm_ioremap_resource() which provides more consistent error handling. devm_ioremap_resource() provides its own error messages so all explicit error messages can be removed from the failure code paths. 2012-08-10drivers/usb/host/ehci-sead3.c: use devm_ functionsJulia Lawall
The various devm_ functions allocate memory that is released when a driver detaches. This patch uses these functions for data that is allocated in the probe function of a platform device and is only freed in the remove function. 2012-08-10usb: host: mips: sead3: Update for EHCI register structure.Steven J. Hill
One line fix after 'struct ehci_regs' definition was changed in commit a46af4ebf9ffec35eea0390e89935197b833dc61 (USB: EHCI: define extension registers like normal ones). Signed-off-by: Steven J. 2012-07-09EHCI: centralize controller suspend/resumeAlan Stern
This patch (as1563) removes a lot of duplicated code by moving the EHCI controller suspend/resume routines into the core driver, where the various platform drivers can invoke them as needed. Not only does this simplify these platform drivers, this also makes it easier for other platform drivers to add suspend/resume support in the future. Note: The patch does not touch the ehci-fsl.c file, because its approach to suspend and resume is so different from all the others. It will have to be handled specially by its maintainer.
