2010-12-29crypto: omap-sham - backlog handling fixDmitry Kasatkin
Previous commit "removed redundant locking" introduced a bug in handling backlog. In certain cases, when async request complete callback will call complete() on -EINPROGRESS code, it will cause uncompleted requests. It does not happen in implementation similar to crypto test manager, but it will happen in implementation similar to dm-crypt. Backlog needs to be checked before dequeuing next request. If scatterlist have more than one entry, current driver uses aligned buffer to copy data to to accelerator to tackle possible issues with DMA and SHA buffer alignment. This commit adds more intelligence to verify SG alignment and possibility to use DMA directly on the data without using copy buffer. 2010-11-27crypto: omap-sham - crypto_ahash_final() now not need to be called.Dmitry Kasatkin
According to the Herbert Xu, client may not always call crypto_ahash_final(). In the case of error in hash calculation resources will be automatically cleaned up. But if no hash calculation error happens and client will not call crypto_ahash_final() at all, then internal buffer will not be freed, and clocks will not be disabled. This patch provides support for atomic crypto_ahash_update() call. Clocks are now enabled and disabled per update request. Data buffer is now allocated as a part of request context. Introduces DMA error handling. DMA error is returned as a result code of the hash request. Clients needs to handle error codes and may repeat hash calculation attempt. Also in the case of DMA error, SHAM module is set to be re-initialized again. It significantly improves stability against possible HW failures. 2010-10-27rapidio: add handling of redundant routesAlexandre Bounine
Detects RIO link to the already enumerated device and properly sets links between device objects. Changes to the enumeration/discovery logic: 1. Use Master Enable bit to signal end of the enumeration - agents may start their discovery process as soon as they see this bit set (Component Tag register was used before for this purpose). 2. Enumerator sets Component Tag (!= 0) immediately during device setup. This allows to identify the device if the redundant route exists in a RIO system. 2010-10-27rapidio: fix RapidIO sysfs hierarchyAlexandre Bounine
This set of RapidIO patches extends support for standard error recovery mechanism and adds new IDT Gen2 sRIO switch devices - CPS-1848 and CPS-1616. Implementation of the standard error-stopped state recovery mechanism (as defined by the RapidIO specification) is required for the new switches. Version 2 of this set of patches addresses received comments and fixes an error notification setup issue found in the idt_gen2.c after the first version was released. This patch: Make RapidIO devices appear in /sys/devices/rapidio directory instead of top of /sys/devices directory.
