2007-06-13[SPARC64]: Really fix parport.David S. Miller
We were passing a "struct pci_dev *" instead of a "struct device *" to the parport registry routines. No wonder things exploded. The ebus_bus_type hacks can be backed out from asm-sparc64/dma-mapping.h, those were wrong. Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2005-07-06[SPARC64]: Fix enable_dma() in asm-sparc64/parport.hEddie C. Dost
Call ebus_dma_enable() before calling ebus_dma_request(), otherwise ebus_dma_request() returns -EINVAL and enable_dma() calls BUG()... Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2005-05-04[PATCH] ISA_DMA Kconfig fixes - part 2 (parport_pc)Al Viro
Part of parport_pc that uses ISA DMA helpers made conditional on CONFIG_ISA_DMA_API. As the result, driver got usable for boxen that do not have ISA DMA stuff and have normal PCI parport card stuck into them - these never use DMA anyway. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
