From fab852aaf761a00cfe16330429b7cac15cceaeb9 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Pekka Paalanen Date: Sun, 1 Mar 2009 16:09:14 +0200 Subject: x86: count errors in testmmiotrace.ko Check the read values against the written values in the MMIO read/write test. This test shows if the given MMIO test area really works as memory, which is a prerequisite for a successful mmiotrace test. Add an optional read test to try to trigger a multiply faulting MMIO access. Also add more messages to the kernel log to help debugging. This patch is based on a patch suggested by Stuart Bennett who discovered bugs in mmiotrace related to normal kernel space faults.
