From eace4cb04c0edc9388e987bf9bbdef461f6daca4 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tejun Heo Date: Sun, 19 Apr 2009 07:00:42 +0900 Subject: ide-taskfile: don't abuse rq->buffer Impact: rq->buffer usage cleanup ide_raw_taskfile() directly uses rq->buffer to carry pointer to the data buffer. This complicates both block interface and ide backend request handling. Use blk_rq_map_kern() instead and drop special handling for REQ_TYPE_ATA_TASKFILE from ide_map_sg(). Moreover with the combination of HPT36x controller and the drive on the quirk_drives[] list this can result in superfluous enable_irq() call which in turn will trigger WARN() in __enable_irq().
