From 4ba9b9d0ba0a49d91fa6417c7510ee36f48cf957 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Christoph Lameter Date: Tue, 16 Oct 2007 23:25:51 -0700 Subject: Slab API: remove useless ctor parameter and reorder parameters Slab constructors currently have a flags parameter that is never used. And the order of the arguments is opposite to other slab functions. The object pointer is placed before the kmem_cache pointer. Convert ctor(void *object, struct kmem_cache *s, unsigned long flags) to ctor(struct kmem_cache *s, void *object) throughout the kernel [akpm@linux-foundation.org: coupla fixes] Signed-off-by: Christoph Lameter Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds --- include/linux/slub_def.h | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'include/linux/slub_def.h') diff --git a/include/linux/slub_def.h b/include/linux/slub_def.h index d65159d1d4f..40801e754af 100644 --- a/include/linux/slub_def.h +++ b/include/linux/slub_def.h @@ -49,7 +49,7 @@ struct kmem_cache { /* Allocation and freeing of slabs */ int objects; /* Number of objects in slab */ int refcount; /* Refcount for slab cache destroy */ - void (*ctor)(void *, struct kmem_cache *, unsigned long); + void (*ctor)(struct kmem_cache *, void *); int inuse; /* Offset to metadata */ int align; /* Alignment */ const char *name; /* Name (only for display!) */ -- cgit v1.2.3-70-g09d2
