From 6be8aeef348a7a4a18b7406aed5de951e6125c2d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org> Date: Wed, 24 Jul 2013 15:05:33 -0700 Subject: net: core: convert class code to use dev_groups The dev_attrs field of struct class is going away soon, dev_groups should be used instead. This converts the networking core class code to use the correct field. In order to do this in the "cleanest" way, some of the macros had to be changed to reflect the driver core format of naming show/store functions, which accounts for the majority of the churn in this file. Biederman" <ebiederm@xmission.com> Date: Mon, 25 Mar 2013 20:07:01 -0700 Subject: sysfs: Restrict mounting sysfs Don't allow mounting sysfs unless the caller has CAP_SYS_ADMIN rights over the net namespace. The principle here is if you create or have capabilities over it you can mount it, otherwise you get to live with what other people have mounted. Instead of testing this with a straight forward ns_capable call, perform this check the long and torturous way with kobject helpers, this keeps direct knowledge of namespaces out of sysfs, and preserves the existing sysfs abstractions.
