2013-12-25Config.in files: use if/endif instead of 'depends on' for main symbolThomas De Schampheleire
In the Config.in file of package foo, it often happens that there are other symbols besides BR2_PACKAGE_FOO. Typically, these symbols only make sense when foo itself is enabled. There are two ways to express this: with depends on BR2_PACKAGE_FOO in each extra symbol, or with if BR2_PACKAGE_FOO ... endif around the entire set of extra symbols. The if/endif approach avoids the repetition of 'depends on' statements on multiple symbols, so this is clearly preferred. But even when there is only one extra symbol, if/endif is a more logical choice: - it is future-proof for when extra symbols are added - it allows to have just one strategy instead of two (less confusion) This patch modifies the Config.in files accordingly. 2013-09-02libmicrohttpd: disable spdy supportGustavo Zacarias
It requires OpenSSL and IPv6 support and it should probably be an option since SSL support uses GnuTLS thus making a huge target footprint with 2 SSL/TLS libraries for full support. But most of all it's considered experimental. 2013-06-27package/libmicrohttpd: minor fixes and additionsCarsten Schoenert
Correcting the indentation inside Config.in. Also adding the missed license information. Note: libmicrohttpd is partialy dual licensed, if you don't need or want to use the HTTPS option you can choose between LPGLv2.1+ and the eCos license (http://ecos.sourceware.org/license-overview.html). If you use the HTTPS option you have to agree to the LGPLv2.1+! Signed-off-by: Carsten Schoenert <c.schoenert@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>

2013-06-06Revert "gnutls: wchar only needed for tools"Peter Korsgaard
This reverts commit 7672b1235d8f786938af66068c1c1da8a766bb38. It turns out that libgnutls.so ends up with a reference to wctomb() on uClibc, as uClibc doesn't have vasnprintf so gnutls builds its internal gnulib version of it, referencing wctomb(). Fix it by going back to requiring wchar for the base gnutls library as well. 2013-02-05Revert "gnutls: make it non-wchar friendly"Peter Korsgaard
This reverts commit f1b86cef9884894df26ed25efaabe254f8f0754b While the fix makes gnutls build without wchar, it doesn't actually work as there's no rpl_wctomb implementation so the .so ends up with an undefined reference to wctomb: ./host/usr/bin/arm-linux-nm -D staging/usr/lib/libgnutls.so.28|grep wctomb U wctomb Causing linker errors for packages trying to use it: CCLD msmtp host/usr/arm-buildroot-linux-uclibcgnueabi/sysroot/usr/lib/libgnutls.so: undefined reference to `wctomb' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>

2012-07-17all packages: rename XXXTARGETS to xxx-packageArnout Vandecappelle (Essensium/Mind)
Also remove the redundant $(call ...). This is a purely mechanical change, performed with find package linux toolchain boot -name \*.mk | \ xargs sed -i -e 's/$(eval $(call GENTARGETS))/$(eval $(generic-package))/' \ -e 's/$(eval $(call AUTOTARGETS))/$(eval $(autotools-package))/' \ -e 's/$(eval $(call CMAKETARGETS))/$(eval $(cmake-package))/' Signed-off-by: Arnout Vandecappelle (Essensium/Mind) <arnout@mind.be> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
2011-09-29package: remove useless arguments from AUTOTARGETSThomas Petazzoni
Thanks to the pkgparentdir and pkgname functions, we can rewrite the AUTOTARGETS macro in a way that avoids the need for each package to repeat its name and the directory in which it is present. 2011-02-19libmicrohttpd: bump versionPeter Korsgaard
The old 0.4.2 version doesn't seem to be available on the GNU mirrors anymore, so change to the slightly-less-ancient 0.4.6 version. We're not moving to the new 0.9.x series yet, as that one needs an external libgnutls for https support, which we don't have a BR package for yet. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>
2011-02-19libmicrohttpd: make https support optionalPeter Korsgaard
Libmicrohttpd works nicely without https support, so make it optional. Also ensure the cross-libgcrypt-config is found, rather than whatever is installed on the host. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>
2011-02-17package: apply libtool patch where possiblePeter Korsgaard
Now that we have libtool-2.2.x patch support, we can get rid of a bunch of _LIBTOOL_PATH = NO, fixing (potential) cross link issues. Notice: php not changed, as it uses a very old 1.5 version for the embedded sqlite, where our buildroot-libtool-v1.5.patch doesn't apply. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>
2009-09-21libmicrohttpd: cleanup Config.inPeter Korsgaard
